Become Financially Independent

These past two weeks have been really great because I have been working heaps of extra hours at work and it has really shown on my pay cheque. I have been putting a lot of money into Bonus Bonds but not so much into HBS which I guess in way is a good thing there interest rate isn’t that great at the moment. Bonus Bonds is quite good I find although they don’t always pay off they are a good investment.

I would like to see myself get to a stage where I don’t need to rely on my next pay check I have heaps of money left over for emergencys or new clothes.

I am going to put away $30 a month in Bonus Bonds but I am going to try and increase that number to about $150.00 but that will mean my HBS savings will only be $280.00 but I might swap it round soon it just depends on what I will do.

Today I am going to put away $400 so it should be a good boost for my bank account. I can’t wait.

In july I am going to cut down my hours at work to 3 hours per week so I want to make sure I still have enough money to do all the things that I want to do like go on Overseas Trips and enjoy myself.
