Doing this list yesterday really helped me be productive and feel better about myself. So, again. 2 months ago

*call SS people about # for girl
*email woman whose paypal didn’t go through for print
*make sure the paperwork can be faxed to the people who need it.
*do two more tiny loads of laundry so it doesn’t back up and flood the bathroom.
*call S and make sure he faxed his paper work.
*go over questions for chapter again and continue
*snowflake outline, step 4, write story from other characters pov
*put laundry in dressers.
*fill wading pool and let kids splash around.
*cook, clean,dress, entertain kids



I've got some paperwork to tackle today 2 months ago

Some calls/emails to make to figure out what I need. Some lists to make. Some faxes. Blargh.

Also need to keep working on my outline. Only a few days left until the big nano day.

And need to start working on my chapter for the creativity book. It’s intimidating to break down what you’ve been doing for other people to follow, but I know I can do it. I just have to figure out how to start. Or maybe I just need to stop being scared and start.

Also need to do some house keeping. Sweep and mop the kitchen floor. Do a bunch of small loads of laundry so the system doesn’t flood.

*keep working on snowflake outline: one page synopsis of Wolf Run
*and watch the kids, dress them, make lunch, make dinner, clean up, entertain kids while I’m doing it all.

That’s not a lot, right?

*check craigslist

Oh well, this week is almost over, so I’m going to leave it where it is.

This all on top of fulltime child care duties that I’m not even writing about and perhaps should.



Got to get back in the saddle 5 months ago

I have so much to do and it’s all swirling around me. So I thought, 43t helped me out last time I needed to start being productive, why not try it again?

So here’s a new goal about getting things done and prioritizing and taking care of business and just DOing.

A to do list… but I can organize my thoughts and activities or just check them off or whatever.

Hey, let’s start with the long view.

This summer I need to:
*pack up all my stuff
*organize into piles—ship to CA/store in FL/Carry on plane/toss/giveaway
*get a new computer
*start shipping some boxes to CA
*photograph all my new paintings
*photo edit all my new paintings
*list all my new paintings to etsy
*help S w his job search
*learn to drive
*get health stuff straight
*clean out old computer
*edit/delete/store digital pictures
*revise my novel?

This is a lot. And it’s overwhelming me… so First Things First

Get computer
*call dad for money
*decide upon the computer
*buy computer

Learn to Drive
*go online and find Florida DMV
*find out what I have to do
*take whatever stupid class for teenagers they want me to take because I’ve never had a license before
*get the temp
*schedule time to drive and do
*take the test

Organize and pack:
*set up room into packing station (table for organizing and holding boxes
*put all the books I am not going to read back in their crates.
*call S and see what he needs in CA asap pack it up and ship
*remove all boxes for storage from my room and into closet
*get rid of junk
*slowly purge the overwhelming tide of toys
*put all the tchatchkes away
