that told me how many visitors had checked my site and while it wasn’t exactly uber impressive it was acceptable. Now I just have to maintain it and customise it a bit.
rovingjack has written 7 entries about this goal
try http://minisite.com/rovingjack
apparently the caps and .com were tweaking it out. so that should take care of that.
I won’t mark it done until I have a feeling one way or another wether it was worth the effort I will be putting into it.
But for now, supposedly the site can be found at minisite.com/RovingJack.com but I just get error messages. so it can only be found by searching the main page at minisite.com for Roving Jack (two words Capped). But if anybody is interested in it as a test run just got to my page and click the little button on the bottom of my windo (it gets me referal points that allow me to add extra bells and whistles to my page).
Now to start filling it out. Over the next week or so we should be able to flesh it out.
I found the place from which I will start, now I just have to do it. That seems to be the hard part for me right now. There just seem so many reasons to give up some of these goals.
Part of it is looking at My ideas here and elsewhere and suddenly I feel foolish for thinking that they are anything but wasted effort. But That feeling will pass and I can bring my creativity to bear on these things to see something come of them.
I think I need a creative person support group.
For my birthday I think I’m going to have some help from family to get this started. It’s going to be a small unimpressive page (cheap all the way man) But with links to projects on sites like this and other it will feel like it has further depth to it and allow me to have a central point to anchor them all to.
I plan to have a page through which I can connect to a blog, and connect to items I design in a on demand shop I have (but have yet to stock). and list several other projects to have followers keep an eye on.
Then provided I can get some kind of income and or a lap top with wireless before july, I post up a charity event that people can sponsor me for. and an art project that sound get a web board to talk about it. If I manage to run it right each of them should be publicity for the other on my one page.
I think I even have an idea of the service provider I want to use.
But There are Just a few things to get squared away before all of that. Here is hoping I can get this web up in one peice.
I’m an arts and crafts kind of person. I’ve been thinking that self publishing books might appeal to me, and I want to design a game or two. What better thing to do for a polymath who is also learning some programming to do then build a web site?
