build a lightsaber

Some persone just tossed out a bunch of metal stand material because the plastic components broke. So I have close to thirty feet of three differant diameter (closely fits together to form telescoping parts) light metal pipeing in chrome and black, as well as five finger width two foot long hollow rods. A few plastic end capps and another few minor odds and ends I salvaged from it. It’s stashed in my trunck and once I make a design from ard board rough peices I’l transfer the design to the pipe and make me a sabre hilt.

I have no costume I just think it’d be fun to have one of these lying around. I’ll worry about building a real functioning one later. :)
