I haven’t worked on this goal for a couple of weeks (while I was in Japan) but got started again today. I am getting pretty good with the simple letter test but am still not quite fast enough to do transcriptions from http://www.aa9pw.com/radio/morse.html
That is the minimum exit criteria for me for this goal. It would be awesome if I could get to where I could hear syllables like GuenterLE.
This is one of those goals that is easy but you have to apply slow steady pressure to in order to get really good.

I am getting very close to calling this goal done.
This is a great site for real-life code practice:

Though it has a couple of quirks, this is a great program for learning and practicing morse code.

So far I am doing letters only and can get up to L before I get too tired.

I actually want to learn morse code for semi practical reasons. I am a software engineer and my company is producing a low cost device where the only output to the world (when a JTAG emulator can’t be connected) is a couple of LEDs. For debug purposes, I would like to flash the state of the device out using morse code!
