Well I found a church that we really like! It’s First Presbyterian in Manitowoc. They are somewhat liberal but still follow the Bible’s rules. The pastor has agreed to do our beach wedding in August. We feel comfortable there and they have a very active youth program. (that’s something I care about – I want to have children someday – I’m also interested in being ivolved with the high school aged youth group)
The only problem is that being self employed Sunday is our only day off. We like to sleep in. My goal is to go at least 2 times a month throughout summer. Once a month they have a contemporary service at 5pm Sunday – we might try going to that too. That time of day would be so much better. But then again we should make it a priority and just get our lazy butts out of bed in the morning…
