improve my writing

I use freewriting whenever I write entries in my blog. I don’t usually organize before I write, like doing a pyramid construction of topics, I just write whatever comes to mind. Disorganized. Freewriting is good, but using it everytime doesn’t improve my writing skill. From now, I’ll vary my writing style, organize and find content using the following Patterns of Exposition

Examples and illustrations
Narration
Description
Process comparison and contrast
Analogy
Cause and effect
Classification and division
Definition
