i studied Italian in university and took so many classes that i ended up with a double major. i then did a Master’s degree in Italian Studies, but that was ten years ago and i almost never speak or read Italian anymore. i would love to become proficient again in the language, and eventually become fluent, though i assume that will require at least a year spent living in Italy. which really wouldn’t be so bad. :)
