Okay, so as vacation wore on, I stopped doing my yoga, but I’m home now and am planning to get back to it tomorrow morning. I’m also really into the idea of joining a gym where I can swim. It’s funny to me because I never thought I’d join a gym, but there is one right up the road from me and the idea of swimming all winter sounds wonderful to me. I’m hoping I can afford it!

I am on vacation, but have managed to do my yoga 3 out of the past 4 mornings. I’m only doing it about 25 minutes instead of 45 and am just doing what I remember from the DVD I usually follow, but I think the most important thing is that I’m staying in the habit. The hardest thing for me when it comes to working out is getting myself to do it, so staying in my routine is key. Usually, I really allow myself to get lazy on vacation, so the fact that I am sticking with it while at the beach is a very good thing.
For the past week I’ve been eating better and doing yoga. Today was the sixth time I’ve done yoga in the past seven days. I can already see how much more flexible I am and more able to do the postures. I love yoga because you really see progress quickly—not necessarily with how your body looks, but how it feels. I have started to notice more definition in my arms, though, and my stomach seems a little flatter. I think the combo of eating well/yoga has helped me loose some water weight. Anyway, if I cna just keep in mind how great I feel when I do it, I know I can keep reaching this goal.
