What is your biggest phobia? I’m talking about things like fear of heights or snakes or enclosed spaces, etc. It can be a slightly more rational phobia (like snakes) or a phobia most people would find irrational (like fear of cottonballs).
Also, any idea where this fear came from? Tell us the story.
My biggest fear is burning. I think it comes from when I was little and someone accidentally spilled a just-brewed pot of coffee down my back at a family party I was at. (I was running right behind her and she turned around and splat! Totally wasn’t her fault, poor woman! She felt so bad, as you can imagine.) Anyway, I was always afraid of fire, explosions, burning, etc. after that. I didn’t even like to drink hot things like cocoa or soup for years.

Are there places from your childhood that you’re always returning to in your dreams? For instance, I notice that often my dreams take place at the house I grew up in, one of the 2 houses my childhood best friend lived in, and my elementary school. Even if the subject matter in the dream has nothing to do with childhood, these places are often the backdrops for my dreams. What about you?
I wrote more about this on my blog (www.starlightbright.wordpress.com).

When are you?
Today’s question is, “Is there a time period in which you weren’t alive, but that you feel drawn to for a reason you can’t explain? Do you think you lived during that time in a past life or do you have another reason for why you think you are drawn to it?”
Since another goal of mine is to drive more traffic to my blog, you can view my response to this on my website: www.starlightbright.wordpress.com

Name a favorite guilty pleasure movie, book, and song.
Mine are:
Movie: Dante’s Peak (so awesomely bad! When the grumpy gramma jumps out of the quickly disintegrating metal canoe to pull the family to shore? Best. Cheesy Movie Martyr Moment. Ever!)
Book: Tie between The DaVinci Code and The Givenchy Code by Julie Kenner (a chick-lit version with the tag line - yes, it’s a book with a tag line - “Cryptology is the new black!” Favorite part is when the brainy and gorgeous grad student and the sexy, rugged man assigned to protect her take a moment from running for their lives to have sex in a shower at the Plaza. For real.)
Song: Father Figure by George Michael. There’s nothing like singing that one at the top of your lungs as you cruise down the highway. That part about “put your tiny hand in mine” always creeps me out.

(For the over 30 crowd) Without Googling or looking at anyone else’s answers, list as many Hall & Oates songs as you can.
