meet new people

Met a woman named Alicia… seems very nice.
Although she gave me a bit more personal information about herself…. that makes me uncomfortable…. Would rather get to know someone a bit before they disclose some things…..

Adam “sleeping wolf” (last name not given for security purposes)
He is my now doing Reiki on me… I found him through a woman I knew from the hospital (she worked there)...
Anyways… the Reiki treatment was amazing!
We went around driving to certain spots in the river and a few ponds I didn’t know about…
And then, He cooked dinner and it was wonderful…
I find him to be an amazing person… intuitive, gracious, sweet, thoughtful…
and when you look into his eyes… there is nothing he is hiding… you can see right into his soul.
I wonder, could he see through my eyes???

I walked up the main drag in North Adams with a gentleman who had seen me taking pics… and we talked about his daughter who is in college for photography, the differences between prints, slides and digital.
Sparked up a conversation in the waiting room with a young woman named Racheal, talked about tattoo’s and how she wants to change the one on her thigh to a more tribal design… she know how to tattoo, but she said she is better at outlining than the coloring.
A young lady sat by me at the bus stop after seeing me take some photos… she is going to school for music therapy, wants to work with children… nice chat, and she was stunning!

I met two gentlemen at the bus stop….
We got into a conversation about smoking… when we started, who quit (and for how long)... what we smoke (or did in the past)
One man moved up here from florida.
The other gentleman is from the area.
It was a nice “clean” conversation… not to mention it killed time while waiting.
Funny, I find it much easier to get into a conversation with men than women…. but I think I’ve always been that way.

Yesterday I found my best friends daughter on my space… of course did the add thing..
and she asked me if I had a Yahoo Messenger.. Which I sent her.
And we chatted, I am really getting to know her. And I love it.
Previously, I’d only been around her for very short amounts of time.. and I guess I was being shy, because of the other people around… so I didn’t really talk to her much at all.
So I think, right now… I am REALLY meeting her.
She is such a cool, interesting woman… and funny as hell!!

I spoke with a woman about her baby… and she told me about her other children…
I talked with this man .. he moved here from L.A. county, I asked him WHY???? He told me he liked it here.. except he’s not used to the winters yet. He has two places in North Adams, he keeps an apartment in NYC… He is into helping put together stages for playhouses. Very interesting guy.. and cute to boot.

I see him on the bus, in the library…
And we usually just nod, or say “HI”...
But yesterday on the bus… we talked for a few minutes, it was nice.
Thing is, I don’t know his name… but some how he knows mine… I never told him!! weird …

I have made two new friends from my yahoo groups. And it is nice to get to know people who understand what I am going through at this point in my life.
I also have one person that I was IM’ng with who I had to put a block and erase her… she (I think) just wanted to talk about sex… and I don’t want to chat that way…. NOT AT ALL

YET… with different people getting this bug that’s going around, and the workers having meetings and such….
We haven’t had the women’s group yet… and it seems like it won’t happen next friday either.
I am really looking forward to this… I hope we can finally find a time that works for all.

At my counseling center they are trying to form a social group with women my age…that have kids…even if they don’t have custody. Ones that have similar backgrounds and mental health issues as myself.
They haven’t gotten it organized yet… But I am hopeful, would be nice to have the chance to make a new friendship or two.
