Tried a lot of foods whilst in Hungary, including paprikas-krumpli cooked in a bogracs on an outdoor stove-type piece of equipment, lots of Hungarian soups and stews, including a babgulyas (bean-goulash) which was absolutely beautiful! Also tried some new drinks, including home-made palinka (made with plums I think) and vilemoskoeter (I don’t know how to spell it, but it’s like pear flavoured palinka), unicum, and Hungarian lager (Dreher) – all of which were very nice indeed!

I’m not afraid of trying new foods, just became too comfortable eating the same things. Going to try and widen my taste horizons and try things I’ve never tried before :)
