become more proficient at chess

ok i meant to play aaron at chess again the other day but didnt get around to it, but what i HAVE been doing is playing advance wars DS more, which should bolster my strategy skills as a whole. but my strategy rules in chess and sucks in AWDS. so we will see how that turns out.
somehow i think it will be beneficial in this endeavor.

i beat the computer yesterday. checkmated. but the computer made some pretty fucking stupid moves, sooo.

aaron and i played chess last night and i won.
i don’t think ive ever wona game of chess before.
i feel good.

got me a little haldheld chess thingy and it looks pretty sweet but i gotta read the manual.
