So I can’t eat gluten – that’s where most all of my stomach problems were coming from. Huh. I’ve been eating gluten-free and mostly organic for the last month and it’s definitely a lot more healthy!

My stomach has improved immensely since I started eating healthier. I have less stomach aches, more energy, and I’m full faster (most of the time). I still have a rather large appetite. I’m just glad I don’t have to guzzle tums to keep my food from coming back up.
I’m eating fairly healthy right now but I don’t have the money or the resources to eat as healthy as I’d prefer. I do what I can when I can though so it’s not all lost in the sea. I just wish it was easier. Or cheaper. That day will come – until then I’ll learn more clever ways to make healthy meals throughout the day on a low budget.
Okay. I’m paying special attention to the “Stop eating once you are full rule and don’t eat unless you are actually hungry. Stop where you are. Don’t look at the food. Evaluate. Are you hungry or do you just want to eat? If you just want to eat grab a lollipop or some water and close the fridge. Stick a piece of gum in your mouth. Whatever you do don’t eat once you’re full.”
I eat more than I should because sometimes I skip meals so I end up stuffing. Then my stomach hurts and I’m extremely uncomfortable. Even the smallest bit over full and I feel like my stomach will rupture.
I almost always have a stomach ache even from the simplest foods. I think I have a stomach problem. I think I should go to the doctor… I think I may be allergic to a lot of those foods because I’m frequently having to calm my stomach down. It’s always rumbling, churing, and hurting.
Urg. Maybe I should eat more yogurt. Maybe I’m eating too acidic food and I need to neutralize it…
Whatever it is I’ll do it for the sake of not having to look at food with trepidation and not having to wonder if I’m going to be shoving down a tums twenty minutes later.
Yum. Chicken noodle soup – the good low-in-everything kind too.
I must stop eating things I know I shouldn’t. I should start bringing a lunch to work.
Always.
Not just sometimes.
