I did a dry-run pitch to a potential director the other week and she bought it; I’d better write the script now then eh?

It’s going to be about 20 minutes long and needs to be shot on a low budget. We’re going to try and get funding for it from the BFC, it seems unlikely, but it will be a work of art and is therefore eligible.

I’ve not written a film script before so the first draft is going to be in some poor shape. However …

I tried to win a DV video camera on eBay. This is a little silly as I already own a DV video camera and a broadcast quality Hi8 video camera

In my head a camera that cost £20 would be “more useful” because it runs off AA batteries and it doesn’t matter if I get blood all over it.

The last film I made was shot on Betacam and we spent 18 hours in the basement of the bbc drinking television centre coffee until our stomach linings exploded and the coffee came out through the seats of our jeans.

(I really want a £20 camera)
