become a Punch and Judy Professor

I was talking about this just the other night and it seems to me that I have rather let it lapse; and yet … it still seems like an interesting project

I have asked for a quote for Mr Punch.

I have an idea that I will try and get a different one of my creative friends and aquaintances to make or help me to make each puppet

I have been doing some investigation into making a Mr Punch Puppet and I decided I wanted him to have realistic looking eyes as I think this will (if anything) make him even more macarbre and a suitable centrepiece for “Professor Moriati’s Sinister Tales of Mr Punch”.

I looked on eBay and it took me a while to work out why you can’t get glass eyes in pairs …

I was having a practice with the swazzle and the cat wanted to go outside. I took her out with the swazzle still in place and the woman from the flat opposite was coming home from work.

She said “good evening” but I still had the swazzle in place and um, “what a pity!”

I just managed to swazzle my first “That’s the way to do it”. It wasn’t particularly good, but I have, at least, managed to get some words out.

This pleases me

I have started investigating the purchase or the construction of puppets and I have managed to track down a Swazzle!

I have e-mailed one of the world’s leading P&J professors to enquire about courses.

(he has replied and I have just ordered his “how to” book)
