Improve my Karma.

Today after school I chatted with a kindergartener in the hall and she told me all about her teacher who just had foot surgery and said, “You have to go look at Mrs. L’s foot!” To humor her and be polite, I stopped in to say hi to the teacher, and she remembered that she had a gift card she kept meaning to give her student teacher from last year and forgot. She gave me the card, and I thought that was so sweet! I guess doing small good things like checking in on someone with a hurt foot really does pay off!

I really believe in karma and want to do all I can so I can cash in my karma points later for something like winning the lottery or having healthy children (the latter obviously the most important.) Yesterday night my bf and I were in the liqueur store and realized that the guy gave us too much change, so we went back and returned it. Tonight I went out to dinner with friends though and we really liked the pens the waitress brought with the bill, so we got all silly and took them. I suppose those two things even each other out, so I’ll have to work on improving my karma.
