Guess I missed this year. But there’s still time left for fall cleaning, so I’m going to shoot for that instead. (And if I miss, this goal will come back.)

Well, one of them.
Well, mostly. Left on the list are a couple of maintenance requests (which, obviously, I can’t get taken care of tonight) and a light bulb replacement (and I’m not going to the store tonight).
Tomorrow, the bedroom. I can move the furniture in there by myself; it’s light. And if I get stuck/tired, R will be coming by later – I can recruit him if need be.
I think two rooms per weekend is a decent goal. Gives me enough time to do all the little things that I’d otherwise gloss over. And at this rate, I’ll be done in a couple more weeks – maybe less, if I get real ambitious next weekend. Works for me.
because, unlike last year’s fall cleaning, I don’t plan on attempting this in a single weekend. (I skip stuff that way.)
Problem is, this is the weekend I’d planned on starting it, and I feel like crap. So I’m going to start with the smaller stuff: Switching out winter and spring wardrobes was my first thought, but I’m not entirely convinced spring is here yet. (A few weeks ago, it snowed; not even a week later, the temperature shot up to 80. So my mistrust is justified.)
Think I’ll start with the regular cleaning, and pick at some of the smaller “big clean” items on my list. No deadlines this year – it’ll get done when it gets done.
Might be fall by the time that happens…
