I picked up the DVD I have because the only “extras” required were hand weights, which I have. But after only a week, I’m not really feeling challenged by the arm exercises, and I can see the ab exercises going the same way. (I’m not branching out into the cardio and thigh exercises until my thighs can handle the PT…those exercises I have to do.) So I’m thinking I need to start looking into the routines that require props. Google, here I come…

I’ve gone around today feeling like someone punched me in the stomach. So tonight I did the thigh exercises instead…and then did my PT on top of that. Now I’m wondering if I’m just this out of shape (entirely possible) or if I’m just a wuss!
I do like the arm exercises. Though I think my little toothpick arms could stand to start with the 1-lb weights instead of the 2-lb ones…that felt more like weight-lifting than toning!
