Deeming this goal done even though I haven’t finished vacuuming.
Deeming this goal done even though I haven’t finished vacuuming.
I’ve finished going through the closet, now all that’s left is vacuuming and final cleanup. The biggest step of final cleanup is getting rid of the mountains of stuff that I’ve found I don’t want anymore. Which means two words that I’m certain many people dread…
Yard sale.
finished the boxes. now I’m going through all of my books and setting aside ones that I don’t want anymore. Once I’m done with that I need to go through the closet. The room keeps looking really good then looking like it’s getting worse because of all this orginizing. It’s annoying.
Finally finished orginizing the shelves. Now I need to go through the boxes. I know a lot of that is papers that I don’t need anymore. At least this time while I’m orginizing it doesn’t seem to be making things too much worse.
Making progress again, finally. And I have a system that I would like to share with people:
One of my biggest problems with cleaning is that I never remember to take stuff that doesn’t belong out, like dishes and such. So here’s what I do to help with that when I’m cleaning, and I hope it helps others as well;
I got too caught up in another goal. My room looks a little better…maybe if I have time during the semester.
Fairly good process…I don’t know if I’ll get the floor completely cleared by next week, but we’ll see.
Meanwhile, I break from cleaning the room to do piles of laundry that I found. The next issue is where to put all this stuff, now that my usual place for clothes is off limits :P
I want to at least get the floor cleared before school starts. Getting other stuff done before then would be a yay too.
Once again I am starting the science experiment I gave up on last time I tried;
How much work does it take to remove entropy from my bedroom?
Steps:
1. Gather materials from the bedroom’s floor and put them in their proper place.
2. Repeat process with shelves, computer desk, above and below the bed, and the closet
3. Organize containers and dispose of unneeded material
4. Collect microscopic particles from the carpet in an airtight container
5. Discard equipment used in the experiment
Starting tonight!!!
Uhhh….looks around Anybody got a Katamari?
I have a party in less than five weeks.
It’s getting hard to move around in here.
Watching an episode of Buffy made me think about what it’s gonna be like when I someday move out of this house. Packing would be hell right now.
I need to get this room cleaned up, and I need to stick with it until it’s done.
If not “tonight” (it’s 1 AM), then I’ll start “tomorrow.”
