I talked with Emily again. She still doesn’t care about her money ($1000 owed), but is very concerned about what I owe Jill, Dad, Mom, etc. I also owe Joy, Mom’s friend.

I am holding aside half of my paycheck as soon as it clears in my checking account. I’m setting up an automatic withdrawl to Ingdirect this Friday.

Half savings, half debt repay.
i.e.: $100 savings, $100 debts

I want to have $1000 in savings.

They say the person you are in high school is a good indicator of the person you will be for the rest of your life. I was such a blatant, unapologetic slacker in school, accomplishing nothing and somehow graduating… And now, nearly three years out of high school, I haven’t developed a better way of doing things. Frankly, I’m embarrassed. And the concept of handling money is so simple that this should not even be an issue. So this is going to change, at this moment. Believe me. Believe in me? ^^;
