I know, compared to some people that’s like how much they write in an hour or two, but for me and my (probably) ADD self, it’s big. I don’t think I’ve ever written that much in like, a single WEEK before, even with NaNo last year (which died).
I feel like I can do anything… if I have a large network of people supporting me.

I did actually diddle on it a bit earlier in the year, but I didn’t count that. I actually played it for the senior song at the banquet because we only had one other person on it.
Pretty fun.

Did one at Borders where there was only two of us. Then I went to the Midnight Countdown on the 31st-1st, and there was like 26 of us there at our biggest.
Gotta love it.

Yeah, for the Gustavus honor band, I slept in a dorm. On the floor. And I got a leg cramp which really hurt.

I don’t count UST as a college band performance, because it was really, really bad to me (and I fell asleep). The Gustavus band was really good, and had some really clean snare rolls. Like, MCM clean. It made my day.

I made it into the University of St. Thomas honor band along with about 9 other students from my school. The music was easy, sans the high notes (as I was on first part). It was too early, the music stunk, the percussion rushed, and the food was not nearly as good as Bethel.
But, it was kinda fun to be in a group that can put on a decent show after only like 5 hours of rehearsing.

Slept through it. ‘Twas fun.

Believe it or not, I had actually just tried them for the first time. It was more of a convenience thing, because I needed something to pick up quickly for breakfast. Granted, you do get funny looks eating two hard boiled eggs and having a mountain dew for breakfast, but at least it’ll stop me from getting dizzy!

Drove 350 miles up to my cabin and 450 miles back (as I detoured to Fargo for lunch with E) by myself. I love the relaxing “me” time that is driving. So yeah, about 800 miles, 12 hours in the car, only stopped 5 times total (besides at my cabin for a few days in between), and 3 of those were for gas. It’s great to not have to stop every 30 minutes for padre to use the bathroom.
