Alles Gute – name of a TV German language course. I will try to finish it finally, after year of having it lying on my wardrobe. I think it can improve my German. And it’s better than nothing.

We are now on the last lesson of Schau mal textbook, and I realize that I’m really getting into it. Well, after 4 years of learning, it could be sooner. Anyway I feel a big change today in my life, I’m starting new life. And one of my 43Things is to learn German, so I WILL learn German.
I had other thigs to be done this week, and missed some lessons (2?), but I think I learned a lot of new things.
I have really “just” waiting stage of this month, when I’m just waiting for others to get farther. I hate this. And at the moment I’m waiting for my professor to tell me (and others) the marks from the test. Meanwhile I learned few new words about eating etc. (like ie Vorspeise und ie Nachspeise und so…). I hope you have more luck.
So finally the test (mit / ohne zu) was today. In a vocabulary part, I think, I had everything right. But in a next part, translating sentences, I had some missing words and probably I made some mistakes. And at last part, correct the sentences, I did what I thought is right, this could be more succesful part than the previous. Soon we gonna get the grades. Mmmm… I’m not sure about it, but I did what I could.
We are going to have a test on sentences “mit/ohne zu”. And I hope, that before mentioned card system has helped me, at least a bit. I have now 70 cards.
Ooops, it just came to my mind – I have to write a homework for tomorrow. So bye…
Lots of cards. Yeah, I found new way for me how to learn. It’s going only with vocabulary not grammar, but it’s great.
You have cards with written questions, in our case words, which you don’t know. And on other side you have written the answers. Shuffle the cards, then start picking them one by one. And each one you know put on one side of a table, and each one you don’t know put on other side. When you get through the whole pack of cards, then start again, but now only with that ones which you didn’t know before.
You can write down your time, and watch progress you’ve made. It’s really great thing. I think…
So the school is running and I’m sleeping, that’s the way as I see it for now. We had our first double lesson, surprisingly it was better than normal lessons. We now have one more hour to learn per week and the same quantity of homeworks as the last year, which is great.
So the school started. Again :-(
And we had our first this-years lessons. I did my first homework at school (today), two hours before lesson. This isn’t probably the way I should go. I have to learn more and try to incorporate german to my everyday life. That’s what I miss, need to use the german language.
Maybe not the end, but the school is absolute near, because it’s starting on Monday. The 5th of September, huh! What a terrible feelin’ is comin’ out of my stomach… Cross your fingers, please…
