I recently read the Christian Jacq’s Little Illustrated Champollion (Le Petit Champollion illustré). It was really terrific book, but it was my first step to the world of hieroglyphs.
Now I’m planning to read more stuff on this. It’s just a pity, that there are no books on this theme in my language and no courses on language of Old Egyptians. I must get an English, Czech or at least German book on this subject. OK, hieroglyphics, here I come.
