volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association

I am still trying to get a hold of someone there! I am getting very frustrated!

To make a very long story short…the woman that I have been trying to get in touch with came to my work to talk about Alzheimer’s. I told her that I had been trying to contact someone to volunteer (I politely left out that it was HER that I was leaving messages with). She apologized, said she can’t believe how no one has gotten back to me. (Ironic that it was HER! Yet, I kept my mouth shut.) I gave her my information and she said she would call me the next day. That was last week. Still no phone call. I am so frustrated.

I have contacted at least three people about volunteering…and no one will call me back! What is up with that? Luckily, at my work, the AA is coming to talk to us. I will corner that person and find out what I need to do to get involved. I never had this problem in Indiana.
