Handed in my notice a month ago, I finish today. I will no longer be a J2EE developer for an automotive consultancy but will be a J2EE developer for an online digital content provider. :S I hope it will be good.

So I have a job as Enterprise Java Developer. Do I enjoy it? Sometimes yes, most of the time no. I think there are decent development jobs out there I just don’t think I have one of them. No one seems to stay here long and every always seems to be looking for a way out.
I got two job intervews and got offered two jobs in two days. One was part time in Norwich and the other full time in Colchester. It was a hard decision. I went with Colchester. J2EE and the people there know what they’re talking about. All Masters grads. The Norwich one was Java/C# and I reckon my skills were probably pretty much as good as thiers. ANd the boss seemed like a bit weasley and pathetic. Ewww.
Well, right now I take lecture notes for kids with disabilities and most of the time I do enjoy it. I get to learn extra stuff without having to take exams. But the thing is it’s hardly permanent, just while I do my masters. After that comes the hard job part.
