go to a music festival

Ok, so I may be a little over excitied, but it’s only because I’ve made it all the way to 30 without having been to a music festival before. But not this year!!! Yay!!! A part of my ‘turning 30 fabulously’ plan was to do things which I’ve always wanted to, but just never found the time. So there were my sister and I on Monday night, furiously hitting redial on the telephone and refreshing internet pages constantly for 3 hours. Unfortunately by the time we got through they had sold out of tickets. Woe were we. Then we found that our local HMV had tickets for sale. Yay. So there we went at 7 the next morning expecting a huge queue, but no, there was no one outside the shop at all. Sweet. We later found out that she shopping centre security guards had been making all ‘student looking’ types wait outside to avoid a rush for the tickets. I guess age does have some advantages after all :-)
