get a 4.0

it has been a rough semester.

assignments and works are thrown to me from right, left, front and back direction. and im juggling with the deadlines all the time. im glad i survived the harsh semester. :p

a review:
Computer Aided Engineering – assignments based sub. no final exam for this. endured lots of deadlines for this one. think i did ok for this sub.

Geomecahnics – probably my fave subject. i choose geology because it rocks! XD

Fluid Mechanics – bah, boring sub. think i did okay for this although the sub is not so appealing to me.

Engineering Management – this sub has been neglected but i managed to pull if off anyway :p

results will be released in a few weeks. can’t wait.

Yes, good news indeed. a proud 3.92.

im gonna give myself 2 thumbs up and work harder for the coming semester.

Engineering Maths 3: Just sat for a test which contributed 10% to the subject. Sadly, i SUCKED at it. which kinda provoked me to review my current subjects and their progress. Verdict: do more exercise and revise on trigo.

Structural Mechanics: Mixed feeling towards this subject. Seems easy but it’s deceiving! Verdict: finish all tutorials by time, and oh, read the freaking textbook.

Material and Processes: Kinda neglected it, the subject is like an ex-girlfriend. Verdict: Make up with the girlfriend.

Civil Engineering Project: VERY tedious project. Verdict: Have proper time management and finish things up in schedules.

BLAH. i know. I really want a 4.0.

feel like the need to bulk up on my studies. did 2 tests this week, and to be honest, i felt stupid for stupid some careless mistakes here and there. totally uncool man.

going to put on those nerdy glasses start eating textbooks for dinner.

still holding my head up for a 4.0 this semester!

ok. so i did the final amendment. i managed to drop Electronic System and take up Structural Mechanics instead. woohoo. let’s review my subjects shall we?

1. Material and Processes – fairly easy subject. gotta spend extra time on this and get a steady HD!
2. Civil Engineering Project – would be a bonus for me if i get great members in my team. :D
3. Structural Mechanics – i’m going to enjoy this subject so much!
4. Engineering Mathematics 2 – i like what i read in the subject’s outline.

with loads of club commitments i have this semester, i hope i can cut it through!

it’s an exciting semester to me, at least. :)

yet, i am excited tonight. tomorrow the new semester starts.

i have been like this every since i can remember – the night before school starts is always filled with excitement, anticipation and the sense that things will be great this semester.

yep, the result is out not long ago.

i got myself a 3.67, which is above average. but i didnt meet my target which is a 4.

but fret not, im goin to get the four dot zero the coming sem!

next academic year is going to be tough, but im holding my head up high and i’m not giving up. cause one day i will run home and show my parents the good grades that i got! ;)

and maybe i should acquire solid works skills. seems to be some skill that is quite favourable among employers of engineers. Oh yeah… 3D drawings sure make ppl go goo go gaa gaa…

finals in 2 weeks.

and i’m determine to get a 4.
