make more friends

Facebook has exposed me to a wide array of the American University Class of 2010. I’ve had mostly pleasant conversations, and I’ve started networking even before leaving home. I just had the most amazing phone conversation about international relations with a guy I met on Facebook; it lasted more than 3 hours!

Even though I didn’t win an award at the Model United Nations conference this weekend, I did make some new friends in committee and at the dance.

I gave my contact information to a few people, including this guy Indonesia in committee introduced me to at the dance. He asked for my phone number, and now I’m just waiting for him to call. I’ve never discussed politics while dancing, and I’m intrigued. I hope we’ll become good friends.
