Well week one of the pullup periodization is working well, but it’s really aggravating an old shoulder injury. It’s amazing how 3 strict pullups is so much harder on one’s body than 6 quick ones. I can already feel improvement

ell I’m trying to reach my goal of 10 pullups this year. I’m trying this periodization schedule. Currently my RM is 3 strict pullups. So far so good I like the program and it’s pretty easy to follow.
When I’m out of shape I can always do 6 when I’m in shape I max out at 8. Don’t know what it is, if it’s mental or whatever. The thing I haven’t thought of is if I lost some weight maybe that would help
