Tällä viikollä on kevätloma veljelleni, mutta en ole kevät. Tälvi kestää toukokuu asti Idahossa. Eilen viikolla satoi lunta joka toinen päivä. En halua lumisadetta. Haluan hellettä!
Translation (I think): This week is my little brother’s Spring Break, but it’s not spring. Winter lasts until May in Idaho. Last week it snowed every other day. I don’t want snowfall. I want hot weather!
OK, sorry about the complaining, but anyways….arggh, that took a long time for just that tiny bit:P I’m going to go through and mark with stickies where stuff is in my grammar book because finding things is a pain, hehe. I supposed much later I’ll find out whether any of that made sense;)

I thought of a perfect use for this particular journal:D I’m going to try to compose little paragraphs in Finnish and I’ll write them here. They will probably have a lot of errors, but you learn by doing, right? runs for dictionary and grammar book so I can start

Hey,I started putting common words on flashcards…just basic, simple ones I should know and there are aLOT. Anyways, I put them in my pocket, take them to work and study when I’m sitting around being bored because there’s no customers. It’s beautiful.

I’ve been trying to study Finnish for 11 years now, and never get very far. It’s time to really buckle down and go. I’ve got a lot of the basics of grammar, but I seriously need VOCAB. Lots of memorizing ahead!
