find a place to volunteer regularly

So tomorrow I’m meeting with someone about volunteering for America Reads, tutoring kids on reading. It’s actually going to work with my schedule too! I’m way excited:)

Why has this been up here forever and I still haven’t done it? Now I’ve got to think about something to do. It can’t be something overly time-consuming right now because my schedule’s so busy, but I want to do something. It would have to be on Sundays, because Saturdays are given to marching band. Hmmmm. Don’t know what to look at right now…am open for suggestions, and keeping eyes open.

OK, I think I know what I want to do…if there’s a chapter in town. I want to work on a Habitat for Humanity site. Not only would it be fun and volunteering, but I would also learn alot about the stuff I work with at work. How about that? goes to look at what there is in town
