was off the track! and it was not worth it! being lazy brought me no joy, in fact i felt terrible. only bright spot was that i was doing some yoga in the morning.
i made a list of goals for this week (and month). i find this new option so usefull. not sure if you can see my lists, they are right below my goals.
here is the link

i blowed 2 habits completly but established one. fortunatly that was the most important one (meditation). so for this week i’m giving other 2 habits (vegetable soup for supper and excercise) a fresh start. Yesterday i finnaly managed to go to gym after 2 week brake!

weeks 4 and 5 could be better, but week 6 was the same as it’s number. i fell off the wagon for 4 days in the row – i just didn’t want to force myself. well i didn’t gain any weight but i continuted to lose muscle mass. i’ll blame descending moon for all that LOL. and i did 37% of the plan, that’s something (e.g. more then nothing).
now what? go back to track. it’s freezing cold so no outdoors activities. renew my y pass. i’m printing my schedule for this week now.
i’m seriously contemplating macrobiotics diet. since i increased whole grains i feel so much better. simpler. it was good for my digestion. i have read couple of macrobiotics books and found the concept fascinating. but to sort everything in 2 cathegories looks a bit simplistics. thats why i would prefere Ayur Veda – if i knew my constitution, prakriti. although i don’t get it – how to get enough protein if i eat mainly grains?

I need a buddy for this adventure. This call comes from trustworthy site, i’m receiving their newsletter for a months. And this is the last time at no charge.
“Please accept this invitation to join me for 21 days in an
effort to implement 3 positive new habits into my life. One
for diet, one for exercise and one for lifestyle. I know
this is the kick in the butt we need to feel great and start
the New Year off right.
It costs nothing, and there’s no trophy. It’s just about
making positive changes and having the support to get it
done makes it so much easier.
What 3 positive habits have you been trying to implement
lately? Let’s make it happen together. Go to this website to
get started.”

This is the message I received from Frederic Patenaude
I publish this here becouse Frederic himself asked to share this info with close people!
“1- Updates: Already over 1000 people signed up for the
challenge. I expect more to come!
2-Date: The challenge officially starts on January 23, but
you have to complete the 4-Step Starter Process as soon
as possible.
3- How to Get Started? Right now, stop what you’re doing and
get started with the 21-Day Challenge. It takes about 10-15
minutes to complete the process, so do it now or as soon as
possible as I might remove the instructions soon to prevent
unauthorized people from signing up. Don’t miss the boat!”

i blowed my 4th week almost completely and i don’t regret it. it was a rest week anyhow and i was a little bit too obsessive about the whole thing which i don’t like. so i decided i will let it loose once a month (when it is a rest week).
i forgot about my water and supplement goals for this week but i increased my fruit and grains intake.
i experimented with animal proteins several times and had digestion issues each time. (i connectted that after the 4th issue. like rocks in my stomach. awfull.) so i need to find some other source of protein.
i can carry heavy grocery bags and catch a tram with ease. no puff and pant. my RHR (resting hart rate) dropped from 79 (a month ago) to 67.
now i want to do my 5th week properly.
i want to do that ayur-vedic purifying thing with warm water: to boil plain water, let it boil 5-10min, put it in thermo bottle, sip once every 1/2h.

Here’s my volume graph for the month of Dec 2005 (from BT where i blog all my training).
I’m so glad I finally started.
An appropriate quote:
“Some people can’t seem to get anything going till they find one special thing that fires their heart. It may take a hundred beginnings before you feel the heat, but don’t give up. This time may be the one.”
Oprah
My wishes are to stick with my training and to get used to it. Also I need to drink more water and to regularily take my supplements.
