I went to NYC last week and it was a blast! Much better than my last experience there. Next trip is going cross country back to LA.

Staying for 6 days, hope it’s fun and to take lots of pictures and meet up with old friends. :)
my boyfriend and i are going! ahh the northern lights, a concert with sigur ros, the blue lagoon, lava black sand beaches, waterfalls…i’m excited!
i was able to go to st. augustine with my sisters and while we were there for work, we got to check out downtown for one evening. mostly by driving, unfortunately, and not enough walking (it started pouring) but it kind of reminded me of key west a bit. i reallly liked key west but i think that’s because i loved the vegetation and weather. we ate at pizzalley (probably a total tourist trap) but it was pretty good. i really liked some of the architecture and it looked like there were so many cool shops. i definitely think it would be worth going to again for a weekend trip.
try to document when i travel, where ever it may be. i have traveled overseas before but haven’t been able to lately so i will document whatever is an ‘adventure’ for me and is outside of where i live. sooo….first place is, PITTSBURGH, PA.
while i have been here (and i am currently here) it has been quite interesting. since i’m nearing the end of my stay, i will just give a list of things i have done:
-dusquense (sp.?) hill ride (looks like a small house traveling up a hill)
-explored: shadyside district, southside district, strip district (favorite!)
-bodies exhibit at the science museum
-lots of great restaurants
i’m sure i am leaving some things out but overall had a great time, one of my favorite things was going up one of the hills and seeing what the houses were like there…just tons stacked upon each other, on cliffs, you name it, they were built. leave no land spared. what an interesting thing…it made me want to know more about the history of pittsburgh, what the main source of economy was, and so much more. it was very cool and it was nice to think i could visit a city so different from my own but still be in the states. i love how cities vary by region, needs of the people, etc. anyway, pittsburgh’s been fun and i am thankful i’ve been able to check out the city as much as i have. oh, and i have never seen so many tattoo parlors in my life!
