almost 2 years and countless goofy songs later- I think this is DONE!

Tobey is my guitar’s name subsequently the name of my first song I wrote :)

I’m wondering if I can mark this off yet or not…
there’s never really a point where I can go

oh and also, I wrote a new song on Friday! woo!
no one has heard it though and I don’t know if anyone ever will.

“God’s Saving Me A Hottie” was the first song I ever wrote (other than “Tobey My Twin Creeks Lover” which was just a joke really) but I played it at church the other day and it went well.

I finally learned “Gravity” by Sara Bareilles today! It sounds a lot smoother when she plays it on piano, but seeing as I can’t play piano and I love that song I don’t really mind it sounding kind of rough. AND IT’S SO FUN TO SING!

I heard there was a secret chord that David played and it pleased the Lord, but you don’t care too much for music, do ya?

I’m learning that song still and it is going well!

I actually ended up not hating the new song I wrote. I think I got my point across :) and I played it for my critic (Nat) and she “really liked it” so that’s yay!

Learning “Hallelujah” by Kate Voegele and “Everything” by Michael Buble

and I kinda just wrote a new song but it isn’t good at all, I was just bored and felt like expressing myself.

I learned some new chords this past week and I got to help with Praise and Worship on my mission trip! :)

Lately I’ve been obsessed with a Jason Mraz song called “I’m Yours” and I have been trying to play it but it’s so so so shaky.
I’ve been really busy lately with school ending and work so guitar has been pushed aside a little :(

I really really want to master a John Mayer song and more Colbie Caillat songs this summer
School ends soon!!!!!!!! :)

I can play some of “Falling Slowly” and it sounds pretty!
and I can play a weak version of “Lies”
so I’m VERY happy

I presume I’ll be spending a lot of time with this over the summer again

So in the past week I have mastered the F chord, “The First Day of My Life,” “Capri,” and I wrote a song called “I Love the Constitution” and remade “Teardrops on My Guitar” to “Georgewashingtondrops on My Guitar” for extra credit in APUSH class. I got positive feedback from it and I shall be writing a song about Ben Franklin tonight :)

I got my acrylic nails off that I had on for 6 days and they were 6 days of hell. All I wanted to do the whole time was play guitar but noooooo, it wasn’t possible.

I played for this thing at school and I was Freulein (spelling error) Maria from The Sound of Music. This is a picture of me having a Taylor Swift sing-along with my friend. :)
