get my lip pierced

The whole 996 other people wanting to do it is putting me off, along with all of the other people I see around with piercings. I wanted to do it as something different, but it really isn’t.

I still think it would be cool, but the burning desire has gone, and my boyfriend doesn’t really want me to. Am considering something else instead, like growing my hair a bit longer and shaving half of it off. Or just doing my rook, as I am having piercing urges.

Ive wanted to do this for a while, and a few weekends ago a friend and I decided to do it together. I dont really like the “together” bit, I mean we want to get the same piercing in the same place but hey it will be moral support.
So, we are checking out places and prices… am not sure if i’ll go through with it, but my ear has closed up now and I miss it!
Or maybe a smiley??

Looks like it won´t be happening soon… Employers don´t seem to take to facial piercings and it won´t really be fantastic for playing sport ie it could get ripped out etc.
Plus my family and most of my friends are extremely against the idea, which doesn´t play a massive role in the decision process although my mother does bring up some good points.
If I were in Copenhagen… if only!
But still, I do want this for one day, maybe just wait until I get the job and if I got it pierced with a very small, discreet stud it might be alright… who knows. I don´t know if I could cope with a stud though – I want a ring!

no idea how/when it could happen… doubt there are piercing studios in nuuk, and besides I’m playing a lot of sport – more than 10 hours a week where there’s a small risk of getting hit in the head by a ball. ouch!

So back in sydney… maybe but parental influence may stop me. And I would rather not get it done in DK on the way home because I want to be able to go back to the piercer and say hey what’s going on here if necessary.

Also considering whether it should be centre or on the side – I like the idea of snake bites…

But i definitely have good lips! And i want a ring, not a stud.
