Finished it for a class and am currently reading 1984 for pleasure. I have read Pride and Prejudice about five time now! I am loving 1984 and it’s social commentary. I think Orwell has a dramatic streak in him, but it make for his fiction to be more entertaining.

Finished for my World Literature class. Five of Shakespeare’s works finished! It was one of my favorite, but women were not treated very well in it.
I am finished with For Whom The Bell Tolls. And am now working on Emotions Revealed by Paul Ekman. Not a classic, but very interesting. It is not nearly and hard to read as For Whom The Bell Tolls. I could get into Hemingway’s stream of consciousness writing, but only for a short period :(.
Bartleby.com is an online library somewhat, and the books are all free to view. It has a few classics that were on my list, so i thought I would mention it.
I am currently working on Hemingway’s For Whom The Bell Tolls. I think in a bit I would like to pick up some philosophy. Suggestions welcome.
Finished it, but not either of my Greek aspirations. This is the second book I have read by Kurt Vonnegut. I don’t always agree with Vonnegut’s views, but I enjoy writing. I loved the idea of naming it Children’s Crusade. I am reading Weathering Heights or For Whom the Bell Tolls next.
I just finished Othello, so that is one more of Shakespeare’s works crossed of. Thank you English M01B. I don’t know if this is a goal that can actually be accomplished with out a Ph.D. in English literature.
I just bought this and it was required for school, so i am looking forward to encountering more Shakespeare. I am reading a beauty book, Beauty Confidential right now that does not at all qualify for this list, but I did finish some others. I still need to finish Fathers and Sons and start Weathering Heights.
I read Ernest Hemingway’s Snows of Kilimanjaro for English Class. So Now I have sampled Hemingway. I started using the virtual bookshelf on Facebook.com to stay organized, which helps. I am still reading Art of seduction, but I have read Sperm Wars and started The Moral Animal during it. I also read half of Fathers and Sons by Ivan Turgenev. I need to finish some of these!!! And get back on track with my classics. Midterms and my classes are taking up all my time.
Besides all the pleasure reads that shall go unmentioned, The Grapes of wrath I mentioned earlier, and Portait of Dorian Gray, which is desidedly my favorite book I have ever read. Next on my list is Weathering Heights. However, right now I am reading Robert Green’s Art of Seduction, so not really something I can put on this list, but excellent anyway and very eye-opening.
I am a sixteen year old middle clas american and have only read three of shakespear’s works. I am currently working on Grapes of Wrath.
I will finish it by May 1st or I will stay in our condo in hawaii doing nothing but reading the first day.
I want to read SOON Dracula, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, and Daunte’s Inferno.
I also want to read more philosophy!
