I just received word from collaborators that the paper I am a coauthor on has been accepted! There is one minor question directed specifically to me that needs to be addressed and then we’re good to go.

Hopefully this prognosticates some first-author papers in the not-too-distant future!

Looks like I’m going to be a coauthor on a publication coming out from some collaborators.

I should change this goal to: Be First Author on a Publication Accepted This Year.

Not too far off 3 years ago

I have a project that is more or less complete, all the simulations are on my computer and work, as best as I can tell. Just need a little time/inclination to polish it off and write it up. It would be my first article (and a first author one at that!).
