I had a couple weeks of on-and-off vitamin-taking. I would remember every couple days or so. I think I have taken it for the last four days in a row. Time to get started again!

The hardest part of this is trying to always take it with food. Sometimes I remember long after I’ve eaten (like 3pm when dinner is 3 hours away). Then I think I’ll take it the next time I eat and then I forget.
Next in this goal, I need to remember to buy more vitamins before these run out, so I don’t have to skip any days. Once you skip once, it becomes even easier…
Having them next to my computer at work really helps. Some days though, I see them at a time when I don’t have any food, or ate a long time ago. Then I have a problem because you’re supposed to take them with food, and so I decide to wait until the next meal—but then I forget. Most of the time I remember though.
Today was three days without vitamins. I was doing so good for a while. I keep one bottle at my desk, which is where I usually take it (with my breakfast). Lately I’ve been filling in at someone else’s desk so I don’t remember to take them. I tried carrying vitamins with me in the past but the bottle rattles when I walk and attracts a lot of attention.
I took the first step in this mission last weekend by going out to Target and buying a bottle of multi-vitamins. I opted not to get the One-a-Day for Women (my initial pick) because although they would be more specialized for me, they didn’t have as wide a range of vitamins as the regular one a day. I drink a lot of milk anyway and didn’t really see the need for them. I took my first one two days ago, then didn’t yesterday. But I am taking one now. Two outta three aint bad!
