I guess any remaining weight can’t be considered pregnancy weight, because my son is 3 and my daughter is 20months. I did pretty well though. I delivered over 200, and now I’m about 165, a size 8 (I’m also 5’10”). Working out with my kids is a great way to tone up while spending quality time with them, and it encourages them to be active too.

my weight has been fluctuating. i actually gained a few pounds a few months ago, but i’ve since lost it again. 161 now.
i’m doing pretty good again. i allow myself a moody week when i need it. as long as i’m not so hard on myself, its easier to not give up.
i got an iud and it hurt. i used it as an excuse to put on a few pounds (it happened really quickly). but the fact that i recorded it here means i can’t ignore it. i am back on track starting now. better luck this time.
its been about 4 weeks since i checked in and i’m 163 now. that’s a loss of about 2 pounds a week. there is so much diet and exercise info out there, but gwen stefani hit the nail on the head. when asked how she lost her baby weight she said that its Simple Math… This Much Goes In, And This Much Gets Burned Off. she’s right. as soon as i saw weight loss for what it really is, it made it a lot easier for me. and i’m not starving myself either. oh yeah, my 10’s all fit and now some of my 8’s. thanks for the support; it helps me by checking in here.
i’m about 171 now and my 12’s are getting loose. a few of my size 10’s fit now. my goal of being a 10 by april (my son’s 2nd birthday) should happen as long as i keep going. i’m about 5’10” so this is tolerable for now.
its been weeks and no weight loss. i guess its especially rough because of the holidays. i’m just checking in so i don’t lose faith completely. my goal is to be a size 10 by my son’s 2nd birthday in april. maybe i can actually do this one!
i moved the scale and it says i’m closer to 176 than to 173, oh well. i’m going to try walking on the treadmill til i burn 300 calories a day, do some crunches, and i bought some supplements like green tea and a multivitamin with omega oils. hopefully this works. wish me luck
173 now. not as low as i’d like to be but its still 2 pounds closer to my goal. well at least i’m tall. i’ll check in again in a couple more weeks or pounds.
i was hoping i would drop more weight before i go back to work but oh well. damn those blueberry eggo waffles with butter! its hard to eat properly with a toddler. anyway, good luck to everyone else out there. stay away from the halloween candy!
