Braces vs. Invisalign

Went to my very first orthedontist consultation (yae! making progress to achieving this goal) Have another one scheduled for next week for a second oppion, braces vs. Invisalign options and to dertermine pricing variations.
The first orthodontist I saw seemed not to be an advocate of Invisalign although I would be a candidate for this procedure. Seemed to be more pro braces. I don’t know enough about either to form an oppinion, but I am concerned he was a little to overly bias.
Would love to hear from anyone that has gone or knows someone who has gone the invisalign route. Or any information pros/cons of using this method over braces that you may be aware of.
