I have a trunk full, including photos that belonged to my late mother, showing her with people I don’t know. I don’t have a scanner, but I’m not sure whether I want to digitize these anyhow, or just put them in albums. Meanwhile, they stay in the trunk.

Update on Jan. 21: I just downloaded Picasa2, so at least I can organize the digital pix, which I seem to have stored since 1996. I didn’t even have a digital camera then, but that didn’t stop me.
