leave the country

I’m thinking about going to Fiji or Australia for a small while, before my REAL OE. I just need to enlist one or two people to come with meee. Oh, and I need to stop buying stupid things at full retail price. Might help with the whole money-aspect. [rolls eyes]

I recently read something written about my country that made me smile self-depreciatingly (soo not verbatim):

“Terrible tragedy in the South Seas; four million people trapped alive!”

I’m 20, I live in New Zealand, and although I’ve practically been all over the grand total of the three main islands that that entails, I’ve never completely left. I find this shocking and appalling. :o
