I want to become SCUBA Certified 4 years ago

I have always wanted to go SCUBA diving, and becoming certified is the first step towards achieving this goal.
The only problem I have had with accomplishing this goal is that it costs $500 to do it.
Being a teacher really limits my budget, but the next time I have an extra $500 around, you can bet it’s what I’m going to spend my $$$ on!!
