become an interior designer

In light of a recent divorce, I am all of a sudden struggling for time to do even the most basic of household chores.

Given the passion I feel for ID, I am not prepared to ‘fit it in’ whenever there’s a spare 5 minutes.

I have therefore decided to put this project on hold until I have the proper time to devote myself fully and wholly to the project.

Hi all

I am at a cross roads. Becoming an interior designer has always been my dream, my no. 1 goal.

Back in September 2004, I enrolled in a 3 year diploma course to realise this goal. The course is comprehensive, and well structured, I have nothing to put a finger on there, but.

nearly 1½ year into the 3 year study, I am faced with the horrible fact, that I will not finish in time. Having begun 3 out of 9 subjects (Materials, History and TD), I am hideously far behind on submitting assignments. I am in a dip, and need a good ol’ ‘kick up the backside’ to get moving.

So far, I have lulled myself into the state of mind, that I am sure I’ll get it done, I just need to do the final bits of thinking before I send the assignments off, so far I have been thinking for 5 months….
