Dean’s List at my university is a 3.6 or higher for the semester. This past semester (my fourth) I came closer to Dean’s List than I ever have before with a 3.4 GPA (and taking more credits than I ever had before). I’ve noticed that both years I did better second semester than first, but I’m really hoping that this fall I can finally make Dean’s List. I’ll only be taking 5 classes, and I’m finally done with my major requirements that all of the pre-med kids are in, so hopefully the curves won’t be as badly skewed this fall. Also, humanities classes seem to be helping me out. I’m going to have to work insanely hard (plus TA, plus research, plus work-study, plus cheerleading), but I think I can do it.
I guess I’ll see how I feel after about a month of all of that.
