My friend Brienna told me yesterday that my face has cleared up alot. In the last few weeks, my friend Jordan and Tami have said the same thing. I don’t really notice it so much, but it’s nice to be told. It’s definately cleared up, but it’s not clear.
I’m thinking about using a skin lightener for the redness on my cheeks and temples, and hopefully an exfoliating cream (or something) would help my blackheads and big pores. THEN we’ll see how clear it gets.
Or a mask? Has anyone had any success with those?

Chelsie has again told me that my skin has been looking great lately. She asked me what I was using, but I told her none of my products had changed. Which was true, but the main reason for my skin clearing I think is because of the pills I went on. I didn’t want to tell her about those, but I think they finally started to kick in.
I hardly have real zits anymore. I just have some stubborn blackheads, some large pores, and a little redness. Which is a heck of a lot better than it used to be. I guess my skin is pretty even…just not in tone.
I still don’t feel like my skin is great though. Especially since my friend’s dad made a comment about it. I saw him while he was working, and he told his daughter later that he saw her friend…”the one with the rosacea.” I do not have rosacea! Another friend told me that he said “the one with the pink cheeks” which might be true, and kind of hurts my feelings. Maybe my cheeks are pink, but they’re not bright red like they used to be. I hardly ever get whiteheads or big pimples anymore…so whatever. I’d rather have a little pinkness than zits.

My friend Chelsie told me today that my skin has been looking clear lately. I was utterly shocked…and flattered! I mean, I still find it hard to believe, but Chelsie is the most genuine person I know when it comes to compliments. So maybe it’s true? :) Hmm…

I’m starting a new regimen tomorrow!
And I’m making it up right now…so here is what I am going to try.
- Wash face twice a day and use lotion
- Exfoliate twice a week
- Change pillowcases every few days
- Clean my makeup brushes
- Buy new, fresh mineral makeup
- Find a new product to reduce my blackheads and big pores
- Avoid processed foods whenever I can
- Eat plenty of fresh fruit and veggies
- Drink water whenever possible
- STOP TOUCHING MY FACE.
Some of these things I’m already doing. But I thought I’d put it all together now to remind myself of what I need to be doing.
Besides, senior pictures are coming up soon! AHHH!

I’m halfway through. In another two months, the pills should kick in and I should start to see some results!! :)

One month down…three to go. I have high hopes for these pills…they’re for people who have no reactions to topicals, and I feel like I’ve tried nearly everything. Soooo, all I can do is wait, I guess. :)

I went to my dermatologist and she put me on new pills. It’s supposed to take four months to kick in so I guess all I can do is wait…and keep up my regimen of course.

I’ve been doing things a little differently for the last week or so. I already see a dermatologist, and I do the basics…you know. Washing face morning and night, using lotion and sunscreen. But that’s not enough. So this is what I’ve added:
-Changing pillowcases more often
-Trying my hardest not to touch my face at all (or pick!)
-Drinking 7 glasses of water a day
-Cardio almost daily
-Getting sleep
-Exfoliating
Annndd I found an article in a magazine about which foods are good for your face. haha. Broccoli, strawberries, lean chicken, tuna, etc. So I try to eat that too. :)
I’m hoping to see results in about another two weeks!
