run for public office

I’m beginning to think that there is no such thing as a “right time” to do this particular goal. I will always have something going on that can’t be interrupted by a sustained campaign. That doesn’t mean I won’t do it, however…

Well, some other candidates have stepped forward, and my life is continuing to be insane, particularly given my new job. I’ll have to pass for this year…but I am not going to give up on this goal. There’s too much out there that needs to be done.

I’m Co-Chair of the Green Party in the U.S., and I’m considering a run for a County Council seat here locally. A lot will depend on my job situation and whether I have enough support locally.
