I’m veering away from my source material going forward…there’s a lot of stuff I want to do with the storyline that just doesn’t fit the Shakespearean idiom.

Still percolating 18 months ago

I’m still thinking about this play idea I had. I got the idea after reading Love’s Labour’s Lost and thinking, “Geez, I could have done a better job on this!” The treatment I’m thinking of is a romantic comedy of three siblings who go to college in New York and the relationship misadventures they have…and yeah, based heavily on LLL, but with less loopy poetry and more snark. (Not so much as Gilmour Girls, but some.)

Something to think about 2 years ago

Since I’ve acted in them and sit on the Board of Directors of a theatre company, why not write some? I’ve been told I have a decent hand at writing, though I don’t usually do fiction…it’s certainly worth a shot.
