write a book

...that a good friend of mine from college is writing now; he’s gotten his first e-book published and has two sequels in the works. (After that, he’s going to try something else, he said. :)

They are erotic romance; he’s writing them under a female pseudonym. :)

Personally, I’ve still got the crazy idea of collecting some of my past blog blatherings into a book, sort of like the columnist books out there. Think anyone would buy such a thing?

I am doing some writing online. It’s attached to a baseball game simulation, of all things…essentially, I’m writing myself as the general manager of a major league baseball team in a very unusual location. The story takes place in 1982. You can find it here.

Only about two thousand words in, but it seems to be taking shape.

I’ve recently concluded my political job, and I’m going to write a book on my experiences in politics and my ideas for a better government and society here in the U.S. It might be held up a bit by some of my other projects, but I’m hopeful I can get it out by the 2008 election. I have a story to tell, and I’d like to get people in this country to read it…
